Making his much-awaited return to the big screen after the blockbuster success of ‘K.G.F: Chapter 2‘, the pan-India star has delivered a massive start with the Geetu Mohandas directorial crossing the Rs 100 crore mark in India on day one itself.According to Sacnilk, ‘Toxic’ has earned an estimated Rs 101.10 crore net in India on its opening day across all languages. The film was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, while its India gross collection has reportedly touched Rs 140 crore.With this spectacular opening, Yash has once again proved his immense box office pull. After kickstarting the Rs 100 crore opening-day trend with ‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’, the actor has now delivered another film in the same league. If ‘Ramayana‘ also manages to achieve the feat this year, Yash could become the first star to score three Rs 100 crore openers in such quick succession, further cementing his status as one of Indian cinema’s biggest box office forces.Helmed by Geetu Mohandas, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ features an impressive ensemble led by Rocking Star Yash, with Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi in prominent roles.
