Ravi Mohan says political entry is his personal decision
Addressing the political speculation, Ravi Mohan said, “Whether to enter politics is my personal decision. Right now, I’m in cinema. To do good, you don’t need a position or fame. Whenever you want, you can do good.” He also pointed out that actors meeting their fans often leads to questions about whether they are preparing to enter politics. According to him, his present focus remains on cinema, while any decision about politics will be taken by him personally.
Ravi Mohan celebrates birthday with fans and children
The actor recently met office-bearers of the All India Ravi Mohan Welfare Movement at an event in Medavakkam, Chennai. The gathering was organised ahead of his 46th birthday, which falls on September 10. Ravi Mohan joined children and fans for a cake-cutting celebration and spent time listening to members of his fan organisation. During the interaction, one of the organisers called on him to give them a flag and said his supporters would come together in large numbers to “capture the fort”, adding to the political flavour of the event.
