Suriya had earlier spoken about Agaram Foundation’s impact during an event in Chennai for students from marginalised families. The programme recognised students who were the first members of their families to enter college after completing Class 12.During the event, Suriya said that the foundation had helped change the lives of 6,000 students over 20 years. He also described education as the best shield and encouraged students to remain positive while navigating challenges.
