According to a report by Mid-Day, Kalyani Priyadarshan has been based in Mumbai as she prepares for ‘Pralay’, her upcoming Hindi-language debut. The actor, who has largely been associated with Chennai and Kochi, has reportedly rented an apartment in Juhu to remain close to the film’s preparation and production requirements.A source cited by the publication said the arrangement has been made to allow Kalyani to stay focused on the project until filming is completed. The actor is expected to remain in Mumbai through the production of the film.
Kalyani undergoes action training for Ranveer Singh starrer
‘Pralay’ is reportedly demanding an extensive physical preparation from Kalyani. She began action training in May, ahead of the film going on floors in July, and has also been following a specially planned diet for the role.According to the afore mentioned publication, Kalyani and Ranveer have gone through multiple readings, workshops and rehearsals together. The two actors completed the first schedule before Ranveer took paternity leave. The production is expected to resume in October and continue through December.The physical preparation is particularly important for Kalyani’s character, with the actor required to maintain a lean physique for the zombie thriller.
