In 2007, Roberts had been planning on creating an eco-friendly space at her Malibu Home. At one point, she owned multiple properties across Malibu. The Oscar-winning star later turned this property into an eco-friendly haven, opting for sustainable items for the decor and renovations. The couple live here with their twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, and their son, Henry. She invested around USD 20 million in her main home, showing how much she prioritised her family and her everyday life away from the Hollywood hustle. While talking to ‘Good Morning’ in 2022, the actress shared that she has many things to do whenever she is home. She added, “When I’m not working, [being a homemaker] is my full-time job. It isn’t rainbows and kittens every day, but it does bring me a lot of joy.” The space now has sustainable features all across, with one of the main ones being the solar panels.
