‘Main gaali nahi dunga’: Sunil Pal says he turned down Rs 25 Lakh to appear on Samay Raina’s ‘India’s Got Latent’ Season 2

Comedian Sunil Pal has claimed that Samay Raina approached him to join the second season of ‘India’s Got Latent,’ but he turned down the offer despite being promised a hefty remuneration. The comedian, one of the show’s most vocal critics, said he refused to participate because he did not want to be associated with content involving abusive language. His latest remarks come amid his ongoing feud with Raina, with Sunil Pal repeatedly taking digs at the comedian and questioning the show’s format and style of humour.Speaking to the paparazzi in Mumbai on Thursday, Pal revealed that he was allegedly offered Rs 25 lakh to appear on the show but refused because he did not wish to participate in content involving abusive language. Recalling the conversation, he said, “Usne baat ki toh Rs 25 lakh dene ki, lekin maine kaha, ‘Main gaali nahi dunga.’ Usne kaha, ‘Aap mat dena, lekin baaki sab toh…'” (“He offered to pay me Rs 25 lakh, but I told him, ‘I won’t use abusive language.‘ He replied, ‘You don’t have to, but everyone else will anyway.'” )

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari brought into the conversation

During the interaction, photographers pointed out that Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, who appeared as the opening guests of the new season while promoting ‘Alpha’, also refrained from using abusive language on the show.Reacting to the observation, Pal took a dig at Alia Bhatt, saying, “Jahaan jahaan hai Alia, wahaan wahaan hai gaaliyan, baja do taaliyan, warna sapne mein aayega Vijay Mallya.” (Wherever there’s Alia, there are swear words too. Clap for that, otherwise Vijay Mallya will appear in your dreams. )His comments have once again sparked conversations around the show’s brand of humour, which has frequently faced criticism for pushing the boundaries with explicit content.
