Dulquer Salmaan said the profile identifies itself as a parody account. However, he claimed its posts are written in a way that makes it appear as though he is behind them.The actor said this has resulted in unnecessary confusion. He also expressed concern about the negativity that could arise from posts attributed to him without his involvement.
Actor explains what the parody account posts
Dulquer Salmaan said the account has been active across different subjects. According to the actor, it has posted comments about movies and other actors while appearing to speak in his voice.He Tweeted, “Kindly requesting everyone to stop believing @_dulQuer to be my real account. This account claims to be a ‘parody account’ and therefore feels it’s amusing to pretend to be me and comment as me on everything. Whether it’s writing about movies or about other actors to even writing fake wishes to my own family members. It’s causing unnecessary confusion and negativity.”
Dulquer Salmaan says complaint has been filed
The actor has also taken the matter to X through its reporting process. Dulquer Salmaan said he has already reported the profile and submitted an official complaint.He added that the issue remains pending. The actor said he is still waiting for a response from the social media platform. “I’ve already reported this account and filed an official complaint but still awaiting a response from X,” he concluded.Meanwhile, the fan account has also posted a reply Tweet that reads, “I sincerely apologise to Dulquer Salmaan, his family, friends and everyone who was misled by my account. The account was created as a parody/fan account. At times, I also shared some of Dulquer’s Instagram posts/captions on the account, which may have made things more confusing.”The parody account creator also Tweeted, “I understand how this could have been misunderstood. I never intended to impersonate Dulquer or cause any harm or negativity. I take responsibility for the confusion caused and genuinely apologise to everyone affected. I’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again.”

The overseas market has contributed Rs 18.20 cr to the film’s reported gross. ‘Im Game’ has recorded a worldwide gross of Rs 47.89 cr during its 25-day run. The reported figures also put the India share at 62.00%. The overseas share is listed at 38.00%. The movie had Kayadu Lohar in the female lead.
