Holland’s latest feature, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ is on track to become one of his most successful films. The movie is set a few years after the events of ‘No Way Home’, with Peter Parker choosing to survive on his own while saving New York City in his very own, old-fashioned Spidey Suit. While looking out for his friends from afar as they enjoy their college life, things start happening to Peter. To find the answer, he reaches out to someone from his past while also dealing with an unknown evil lurking around the corner. So far, the film, released worldwide on July 31, has collected an overall box office of USD 1.05 billion. With less than a week from its release, ‘Brand New Day’ broke the record, becoming the fastest film to cross USD 1 billion at the box office, closely following ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ which collected USD 1.2 billion during its opening weekend in theatres.
