Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari have officially wrapped up filming for director Sooraj Barjatya‘s upcoming romantic family drama ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’ and the photos from their shoot are now going vial.The actors were spotted at Mumbai’s historic Banganga Tank this weekend, filming a scene for the highly anticipated family entertainer. The photos have gone viral just as filmmaker Barjatya officially called it a wrap on production late Friday night.

As per reports, staying true to the Rajshri Productions legacy, ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’ promises to celebrate ‘love, family values and soulful music’, while presenting it through a contemporary lens. The film also marks the return of Rajshri’s iconic character, Prem, to the big screen after a gap of 12 years. This time around, it will be Ayushmann who takes on the role.

Speaking to IANS about taking on the iconic character, Ayushmann said, “It is like a dream for me that I am playing the character of Prem. Because I had just thought that I wished it would happen. And, it happened. There is something new in Sooraj ji’s story and it is a good thing. It is a family film like his films. The same film hasn’t been released for many years.”

Swanand Kirkire on ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’

Actor and lyricist Swanand Kirkire, who also features in the film, praised his co-stars. Calling Ayushmann a delight to collaborate with, Kirkire said, “Ayushmann is a very grounded actor and a pleasure to work with.” He also had words of praise for Sharvari, adding, “Sharvari brings a wonderful energy to the set, and collaborating with both of them has been truly a good experience.”Opening up about the film, he shared, “Rajshri and Sooraj are known for bringing families to theatres. There’s a certain purity and belief in goodness that the banner represents, and to collaborate with a team that values emotional honesty over spectacle is incredibly refreshing. Sharing the screen with Ayushmann and Sharvari has also been a beautiful experience they both bring such individuality and sensitivity to their craft.He further added, “When I heard the world of Yeh Prem Mol Liya, I was deeply moved by its emotional simplicity and sincerity. What I love about Sooraj ji’s writing is that even the silences carry meaning. There is dignity, restraint and warmth in the way he builds relationships on screen. As an actor, that is both challenging and fulfilling because you are required to underplay and yet remain emotionally present.”With filming now complete, it is reportedly gearing up for a November 2026 release.
