The makers of ‘Pluto’ have unveiled the official trailer of the upcoming Malayalam film which offers audiences a glimpse into a science-fiction comedy filled with humour, fantasy and unexpected adventures. Headlined by Neeraj Madhav, the film introduces Altaf Salim as an extraterrestrial visitor. ‘Pluto’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 30 and blends science fiction with comedy.
Neeraj Madhav crosses paths with an alien
At the heart of the story is Vicky, played by Neeraj Madhav, whose life takes an unexpected turn after he encounters Pluto, an alien who arrives on Earth from another galaxy. The trailer also hints that the film will balance comedy with emotional moments. It also explores the consequences of an extraterrestrial visitor arriving in Kerala, similar to what happened with Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’.
Aju Varghese ‘s makeover becomes a talking point
Besides Neeraj Madhav and Altaf Salim, the trailer also shines a spotlight on Aju Varghese, who is playing a pivotal character. The supporting cast includes Arsha Baiju, Subin Tarzan, Dinesh Prabhakar, Vineeth Thattil, Nihal Nizam, Zaheer Mohammed, Nimna Fathimi, Sachin, Tushara Pillai, and Vipin Atley.
Experienced technical team backs the film
‘Pluto’ is directed by Adithyan Chandrasekhar, while Niyas Mohammed wrote the screenplay. The film’s visuals were captured by cinematographer Vishnu Sharma and Sanath Shivaraj handled the editing. Arcado composed the music, Rakhil served as the art director and Stephy Xavier managed the costume design. Whether ‘Pluto’ succeeds in delivering a memorable science-fiction comedy remains to be seen.
