Investigation report reveals cause of Kaylee Hottle’s demise

The Chief Medical Examiner at the Maryland Office determined the official cause of death to be multiple blunt force injuries from the car crash, per Deadline. The actress was a passenger in the high-speed car that crashed into the ditch around 3 am on July 21, 2026. The 19-year-old driver is believed to have survived with non-life-threatening injuries after being taken to the hospital. Moreover, another passenger declined medical treatment at the scene. Hottle was taken to the nearest trauma centre, where she was pronounced dead. The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit has yet to examine the cause of the crash.

Kaylee Hottle’s father announces her demise

Joshua Hottle, who also has a hearing disability, announced the devastating demise in American Sign Language on a Facebook video. Explaining what happened to the late actress, he shared that he was travelling from Texas to Maryland to claim her body. “I am taking a flight that I never would like to take,” he wrote in the caption of the post.
